Testing & Evaluations

This program to recognize good public manners is offered by the AKC and is open to dogs of all breeds and mixes. The 10-part test demonstrates your dog's manners and reliability in public.

You can learn more about the CGC testing program here. Be sure to ask your insurance agent -- many companies offer discounts to households with CGC dogs!  Some hotels and rental properties also recognize the benefit of CGC testing and may offer discounts or allow CGC pets.

Open testing runs approximately one hour.  Testing fee is $15.
